Thanks, appreciation and gratitude

 

On behalf of the UMBAJA organization, its members, community and partners, we are so delighted to express our gratitude, appreciation and thanks to those who contributed with us to the success of Umbaja Economic Forum 2022.

First, we would like to thank our distinguished guest keynote speakers, Ms. Sarah Laustroer who spoke an opening speech, on behalf of Association of Lower Saxony educational initiatives, Dr. Bashir Omer Mohammed Fadlalla the former Sudanese minister of finance and economic planning who gave an experienced and  wordly-wise paper on Democracy, Economy and Sustainability from global south economic perspective, Dr. Martin Seeliger the sociologist researcher at University of Bremen who presented a highly-academic paper on the social transformation on the era of globalization, digitalization and climate change and Mr. Nasreldeen Mofarih Ahmed Mohamed the former Sudanese minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, who introduced his paper on mobilizing the local communities for the sustainable development goals.

Our gratitude to the participants guests from abroad, from the United State of America, Norway, Netherlands  and Ghana who enriched the discussions with diverse global views, and from the different German states and cities, from Karlsruhe, Aachen, Bielefeld, Lage and Schwalmtal who strengthened the momentum of our forum and increased its fruitfulness.

Our appreciation and thanks to our partners and funders, Cultural Center Pavillon, Association of Lower Saxony educational initiatives, Cameo Kollektiv e.V, GLS Bank, Bingo environment Association, Life and Environment Association, bread-for -the world organization, Hanover city and the mayor, students union of University of Hanover, the company Domahan International and the German Sudanese Association for transfer of  Knowledge and Technology.

A warm hearty thanks to the technical and organizational crew at Cultural Center Pavillon who were so cooperative and they did the best that they could in order to enable us to manage our forum.

Our members and our community in the Umbaja organization and in Hanover who worked hard and with a dedication to show our true face of hospitality, care and the consciousness about our issues.

We also want to express our special gratitude to all those who followed the news of the forum from afar and wished it success and good luck.

We are expressing our appreciation to those who enabled us to have a qualitative successful forum.
